Chrysler’s Sale of Viper a Go?

Looks as though the death of Viper is (again) very exaggerated. Chrysler’s selling of Dodge Viper perked the ears of many V-philes, along with some of the top performance enhanced engine producers around - Roush Performance and Saleen. Saleen is already part of Viper-production - they paint the vehicles after assembly.

Chrysler also states they have other interested parties both in the United States and UK. Chrysler President Jim Press believes there are countless possibilities for potential Viper purchasers, although he may be more concerned with the potential amount of money his struggling company can make off this sale. Chrysler Dodge Jeep could take in anywhere between $50 million and $150 million by the end of Viper’s 2011 run.
